Ruben is a bright, funny 8 year-old boy who loves playing with his brothers and friends, adores his dog Bella, and recently took up drumming lessons. On 2nd January 2024, he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Everyone close to Roo and his family is devastated by this news, so we’re doing all we can to help them at this extremely difficult time.
DIPG brain cancer is very rare, and therapies are now being trialled to treat this terrible childhood illness. Roo may need to travel overseas for treatment, and will need special equipment to make his life more comfortable, as he is already struggling with mobility issues in his daily activities. This fund has been set up to help his family with all the expenses that lie ahead, as well as show them love and care from their local community.
